The Teddy Roosevelt Lounge is a lounge and bar located on the second floor of the giant Titanic-like ship, the SS Columbia, in the American Waterfront area of Tokyo Disneysea. Whereas the fine-dining restaurant on the third floor, the SS Columbia Dining Room, is where you might choose to have a three course dinner, the Teddy Roosevelt Lounge is an ideal place to sit down and enjoy a cocktail, or perhaps a snack or light meal, in style.

TDR Restaurant Review: Magellan’s Restaurant & Lounge

Along with the SS Columbia Dining Room, Magellan’s is one of the fanciest restaurants at Tokyo Disneysea. A Disney story about Columbus, Magellan and the S.E.A. (Society of Explorers and Adventurers) sets the scene for the restaurant which is located within the Fortress Explorations attraction in the Mediterranean Harbor.

TDR Restaurant Review: Ristorante di Canaletto Tokyo Disneysea

Ristorante di Canaletto is one of the table service restaurants at Tokyo Disnseysea. Located in the Mediterranean Harbor, this restaurant has gorgeous views of Disneysea’s Venice, overlooking the canal with the gondolas, and the famous hotel within the grounds of the park, Miracosta.

TDR Restaurant Review: The Blue Bayou Tokyo Disneyland

The Blue Bayou is one of the ‘table service’ restaurants at Tokyo Disney Resort. Like the Blue Bayou at Disneyland in the US, the restaurant at Tokyo Disneyland is located inside the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, within the New Orleans part of Adventureland. An interesting aspect of the Blue Bayou, perpetually lit to feel like night time, is that the waterfront restaurant shares the same river as the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. In a way, the ride enhances the feel of the restaurant, and while you’re on a boat in the ride, the restaurant gives the ride itself a more realistic feel.

I’ve been to Tokyo Disneyland and Disneysea a number of times, and every visit involves a lot of eating. One of the best snacks you’ll find at Tokyo Disney Resort (TDR) is the popcorn which comes in many, many flavors. I’ve tried at least 11 different flavours (possibly more – I wasn’t counting when I first began), so I’ve put together a list of these 11 popcorn flavours, along with my ratings, with five stars being the highest rating.

Halloween at Tokyo Disney Resort Part 1: the food

Halloween is both my favourite time to be in Japan and my favourite time to visit Tokyo Disney Resort. Both Disneyland and Disneysea are decorated really well for Halloween, there is plenty of themed food, and Disneyland comes with the added benefit of the opportunity to dress in costume! Christmas at Tokyo Disney Resort Part 1: the food

Christmas festivities began at Tokyo Disney Resort over a week ago now – back on Friday November 7th. I was very happy to be able to experience the very first day of TDR’s Christmas 2014! It has taken me a while to get around to this post as since then I’ve flown home to Australia, immersed myself in reality again, and have had to start getting all of my photos together. But here we are! I’m going to tackle Christmas at TDR over a couple of posts, starting of course with the food, because eating my way around the two parks is one of the things I do best.
